Privacy policy

Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) collection notice and policy.

What we collect

For visitors we collect only what's needed to run the service: the tour you build (kept in your browser) and basic, de-identified usage analytics. If you create an owner account we collect your name, email and the listing you claim.

Unclaimed listings

Some cellar-door listings are compiled from publicly available information and attributed to their source. They are unverified until the owner claims them. If you operate one of these venues you can claim it, request changes, or ask us to remove it at any time — see removal & opt-out.

How we use it

To show and plan tours, verify listing ownership, review owner-submitted changes, and improve the product. We never sell personal information. We never email you a password — owner verification is by domain email, DNS, phone or a document you provide.

Email & the Spam Act

We only send email you would reasonably expect (claim verification, change- request outcomes, account notices). Any optional communications are opt-in and carry a one-click unsubscribe; unsubscribing is honoured and recorded.

Removal & opt-out

Verified owners can hide and request permanent deletion of their listing from the owner portal. If you are not yet verified, or want a listing removed, contact us at privacy@tourmyway.com.au and we will action it promptly.

Access, correction & complaints

You can request access to or correction of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, at privacy@tourmyway.com.au. Unresolved complaints can be escalated to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
